Sten is a rechargeable stone table lamp — a yellow travertine base with a wooden spotlight head — cordless and charged over USB. A touch switch on the base turns it on, the 1500 mAh battery gives around 6 hours of light per full charge, and the head tilts to aim the beam. Small, and worth looking at.
Direct the light
The head adjusts, so you can aim the beam where it is actually needed — across a desk, onto a page, or up a wall for a softer wash. It works as a task light and as an accent, depending on where you point it.
One touch, nothing else
A touch switch on the base is the whole interface — no remote to lose, no app to set up. Touch to turn it on, touch again to turn it off.
